About the event

The Danehill Climate Action Group will be hosting a talk at The Club on 11th September, focussing on what local volunteers are currently doing to protect local waterways, and what you can do to get involved.


Christina Coleman and Dr. Ffion Thomas will be speaking about Project Ripple Effect, an action-research project led by academics at the University of Sussex in partnership with Friends of the River Medway.


Christina will also be talking about funding available from Wealden District Council.


Benji Martin is a sustainability specialist who lives in Danehill. His talk will focus on how we can be better stewards of our environment, and what actions the Climate Group has already taken to improve our local area.


Entry is free, with a drink and nibbles provided, so please do come along to support this important topic.
