Nepal Floods Emergency Fundraiser
Many of you know Pramod Poudel — affectionately known to everyone as Pedro—as the warm, hard-working face behind the MoMo Nepalese Street Food truck. Following the recent devastating flash floods on the Nepal-Tibet border, four members of Pedro’s immediate family—his mother, his wife, his brother, and his uncle—have tragically gone missing.

We know that so many in the community want to show their love and support for him and his family, as well as everyone else who has been affected by the disaster, so we are sharing links to fundraisers set up by the local community.
The Club Danehill's British Red Cross Nepal Floods Emergency Fundraiser
The Red Cross are already supporting the response to the devastating flash floods in Nepal through the Disaster Fund with donations supporting the immediate work of the Nepal Red Cross Society emergency teams on the ground.
We hope that this fundraiser will help to give them the support they need to save lives and reunite families with their loved ones.
Pedro is a vital part of our local community. Now it is our turn to step up for him. We are raising funds to help cover Pedro's:

Emergency travel and search logistics in Nepal.

Ongoing family support costs during the rescue efforts.

Immediate living and business overhead expenses while the truck is off the road.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to support Pedro by any means, whether it is allowing him to stay in Nepal for an extended period of time whilst he cannot run his business, supporting him searching, paying for equipment and travel, or just supporting funds where the income of his work is no longer active.
