Darts Success and Autumn Update

Congratulations to the Danehill darts team who just became the Sussex Summer League Darts Champions for the 2nd year running! They weren't done with their trophy collection yet though, also picking up Most Men’s Double Wins, Most 180’s, Captains Winner, Ladies Doubles Winner, Ladies Singles winner, Ladies Singles runner up and Mixed Doubles runner up!

We're so proud of our incredible team who pulled out all the stops to have such a successful season. The Sussex Summer League also raised a massive £2,606 for charity which will benefit 4 different charities.

Autumn Update from the Club:

We have recently received a generous amount of furniture from Burgess Hill Constitutional Club. On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank them for their kind donation, which will help us as we continue improving our facilities.

I would also like to give a special thank you to Ashdown Café for their continued generosity and kind donations over the years. Their support has made it possible for us to carry out improvements both inside and outside the club, and it is greatly appreciated by us all.

Congratulations also go to the Danehill darts team, who are the Summer League 2026 Champions - winners for the second year running! We're so proud of our incredible team.

From October there will be regular live-music nights at the club. These evenings will be open to everyone, and we hope the local community will enjoy and support them. Their success will depend on the number of people who come along, so if you love music, come check them out.

We would also like to refurbish our patio area. If any local businesses or tradespeople may be able to help us with this project, please get in touch. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

It is very encouraging to see the club becoming busier and more people making use of it. Please come in and say hello, particularly on Thursday evenings when the food vendors visit the car park. Everyone is welcome to bring their food into the club and enjoy it with a drink and some friendly company.

With a whole range of craft evenings, quiz nights, discos and more coming up, there's something for everyone at the Club. Please come along, bring your friends and get to know your community!
